Get DMN
Free, for Windows. No account, and it installs for your user, so it doesn't need admin rights.
The Windows release is coming soon. Until then, the demo runs the real interface in your browser.
What you need
| System | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit |
|---|---|
| GPU | Optional. DMN uses one when it's there (CUDA or DirectML) and the CPU otherwise. |
| WebView2 | Comes with Windows 11. If it's missing, the installer fetches it. |
| Agents | Your own Claude Code, Codex or other coding agent, with your own subscription. |
| Account | None. |
What stays on your machine
DMN's indexing, embeddings, search and notes run on your computer, and its engine only listens on your own machine. Your agents still talk to their own providers, as they do without DMN.
The app is free. Model use isn't included: your agents run on your own Claude or Codex plan, billed by those providers as usual.
After you install
-
Open a project
DMN indexes it in the background and keeps the index current as files change.
-
Connect your agents
The app can do this for you, or run one command:
dmn skill-init --apply # Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode dmn mcp-init --apply # Cursor and other MCP clients -
Start agents
Use "+ agent" in the Fleet panel. The docs cover the rest.
Mac and Linux
Not yet. The engine is cross-platform Rust, and Mac and Linux builds are on the roadmap. On Windows, DMN can move a project into WSL.
Pick macOS or Linux in the form at the top, and we'll email you once yours is out.
